As values based organizations, our Fraternities push themselves to achieve excellence in our academic, service and social pursuits. The lifelong bonds formed in our community give us a home away from home at UConn, filled with brothers who we can help, and be helped by, as we strive to become our best selves.
Rush, our recruitment period, occurs in the beginning of every fall and spring and is a period for you to explore the different chapters that make up our council. Each chapter is unique in its offerings and rush is the time to meet brothers acquaint yourself with the landscape of Greek life and find your place in our diverse community. There is a niche for everyone in our community, all you have to do it come out and meet us!
IFC fraternity rush is non-binding and is a memorable endeavor in and of itself. The many benefits offered by this event, both tangible and intangible, make it one of the most worthwhile opportunities presented to you during your time here. Having the chance to meet new people, both fellow rushees and fraternity men, while enjoying social events, trips, and activities, makes fraternity rush a remarkable experience.
